About Port Checker & Troubleshooting
The open port check tool tests whether a specific port on your external public IP or remote server is reachable from the internet. It is essential for verifying router port forwarding rules and diagnosing firewall blockages for web servers, game servers, or remote access services.
If a port returns "Closed" or "Filtered", verify that your application is actively listening on all interfaces (0.0.0.0), port forwarding rules are correctly pointing to your local machine IP, and your operating system firewall allows incoming connections on that port.
Private network (10.x, 192.168.x) or loopback addresses cannot be scanned for security reasons.
